Corporate Reverse Pitch Call
In manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is considered a critical technology enabling the digitalization and vertical integration of processes across the entire organization, from product development and purchasing to manufacturing and logistics. When it comes to horizontal integration, AI applications stretch beyond internal operations, and facilitate not only the inclusion of suppliers and customers, but of all key value chain partners. This digital revolution also implies that companies, which successfully develop internal AI capabilities and embed AI-powered industrial use cases in their corporate DNA, will be in a much better position to benefit from the gains promised by Industry 4.0 and ultimately experience increased competitiveness.
However, finding the right technology partners in the quest for deploying the right innovative AI technologies often turns out to be a great challenge. This is why EIT Manufacturing, and the AI-Marketplace of Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws) jointly organize the Corporate Reverse Pitch Session on ‘Applied AI in Manufacturing’ within the aws Connect Day on 31st May 2022 – the main matchmaking event for Start-ups and Corporates at the ViennaUP’22 festival. The event is all about innovation, helping to connect corporates with innovative start-ups, and potentially engaging them in high-value exchanges. Last year’s virtual edition had more than 800 participants, and we aim to surpass this number in the 2022 hybrid edition of the event.
During the ‘Corporate Reverse Pitches’, corporates will have the opportunity to pitch their AI-related innovation achievements and challenges to the European start-up ecosystem and to identify the right partners for collaboration.
