Our partnership is strongly committed to bringing these unique solutions into life and to boost manufacturing innovation in Europe by connecting people with skills, technologies with markets and innovators with investors.
Industry partners have an extensive footprint, covering multiple sectors including automotive, aerospace, process industry, machinery and equipment, electronics, ICT, medical technologies and consumer goods. This diversity will also support multi-sectorial innovation approaches with broad impact, while facilitating cross-sector learning. It covers the entire product lifecycle from concept and design to manufacturing and maintenance.
Academic partners include globally recognised universities for academic and innovation performance. They provide the educational capacity, curricula and top-level academics required to reach our educational goals. Besides their excellent technical competences, they also present great expertise and experience in novel approaches to manufacturing education.
Research and Technology Organisations (RTOs) contribute with their broad competences and specialised expertise in major manufacturing enabling technologies. They bring a high-end innovation eco-system and technological assets, such as innovation labs, test beds, fablabs and maker spaces to be used in innovation processes. All RTO partners are currently active in European strategic initiatives for manufacturing innovation, some of them having also played a major role in coordinating the efforts and/or representing the community in relevant initiatives.
