CircularDev Summer School

The CircularDev EIT Manufacturing Summer School program is structured to provide a comprehensive and impactful learning experience for participants. The program runs for a 3 week period (including 2 weeks in Dublin and 1 week online) and features a dynamic schedule that alternates between various types of learning experiences, including company visits, lectures, and workshops on key topics in the innovation and entrepreneurship fields, with a specific focus on circular economy.

To ensure that all participants can fully engage in and successfully complete the proposed activities, digital nuggets on the basics of innovation and entrepreneurship, and circular economy will be made available before the start of the summer school. Online serious games are also included in the program after the 2 weeks in Dublin.

Company visits are organized in Ireland (transport from UCD to the sites are organized by the summer school organization)

Please note: The full programme takes 3 weeks (2 weeks onsite and 1 week online split in two sessions at the beginning and at the end of the program)

You can choose if attending the full programme with the 2 weeks onsite or just a partial programme made of 1 week on site of your choice and 1 week on line. The weekly programme is self contained, so you don’t need previous experience to join the second week on site of the programme. You can choose your best option during the application.

By participating in this program, individuals will have the opportunity to broaden their network with potential European partners and gain a competitive edge in the industry, while also developing an understanding of the importance of circular economy and sustainability in the manufacturing industry.

The program is designed to be hands-on and interactive, with participants working in teams to develop and pitch sustainable solutions to real-world industrial challenges. The program culminates in a final prize giving ceremony at the end of the program, where teams will pitch their solutions and be evaluated by a panel of experts.

The CircularDev EIT Manufacturing Summer School is committed to providing participants with a comprehensive and impactful learning experience that will empower them to become sustainable manufacturing entrepreneurs of the future.

To apply to the EITM CircularDev Summer School, you are required to upload the following documents:

• Academic qualification certificate (bachelor of science degree)
• Curriculum Vitae including details on your academic and professional career using preferably the Europass format (europa.eu/europass/en/create-europass-cv)
• A colour copy of your either National ID (only for EU/EFTA students) or passport

Please note:

• The entry qualification documents are accepted in English only
• Applications that do not submit all documents will not be processed.

*Applications with fraudulent documents will be rejected.

EARLY BIRD tuition fees before 15 June 2023:

• Main fee for two-weeks on-site program and virtual days: 1500 €
• Main fee for one-week on-site program: 750 €
• Students and professionals from the EIT Manufacturing partners: 900 €
• Students and professionals from the RIS countries: 900 €
• Fee for daily participation: 200 € per day
• EITM Master School students: Free

Regular Fees:

• Main fee for two-weeks on-site program and virtual days: 2000 €
• Main fee for one-week on-site program: 1000 €
• Students and professionals from the EIT Manufacturing partners: 1200 €
• Students and professionals from the RIS countries: 1200 €
• Fee for daily participation: 200 € per day
• EITM Master School students: Free

Note:

• The fee can be paid either by the student or by a sponsor (i.e. a local university)
• Group registration (min. 5 participants) with a discount of 5% is available on request.

Fees include:

• Access to Summer School activities and materials for the day/week of participation
• Breakfast, lunch and coffee during the onsite course time
