Life in Trento:

Trento, the capital of the Trentino region, is a charming yet forward-thinking city that masterfully balances its historical roots with a modern outlook. Known for its Renaissance-era architecture and vibrant cultural scene, Trento is much more than a picturesque destination.

For students, Trento offers a dynamic yet tranquil atmosphere. Its size makes it easy to navigate, fostering a close-knit community feel while still providing access to all the amenities of a modern city. The city boasts a range of parks, cafes, and cultural events, ensuring a well-rounded experience outside the classroom. Surrounded by the breathtaking Dolomite mountains, it also serves as a gateway to outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and cycling, making it an ideal choice for nature enthusiasts.

Life in Rovereto:

Rovereto, the region’s second-largest city, complements Trento’s offerings with its rich cultural heritage and focus on the arts. It is home to MART (Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto), a renowned cultural institution recognized across Italy and Europe. MART regularly hosts exhibitions featuring iconic modern and contemporary artists, providing students with access to world-class art and inspiration.

Although smaller than Trento, Rovereto’s charm lies in its vibrant student-friendly atmosphere, excellent transport connections, and opportunities to immerse oneself in Italian culture and traditions. The city also serves as a center for innovation and creativity, aligning perfectly with UNITN’s academic and research ethos.
