SUPSI – University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland

SUPSI is the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland, integrated within the Swiss University Federal framework. The Department of Innovative Technologies deals with engineering sciences and applications in the following sectors: Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, Mechanics and Industrial Production. The Department’s work in the field of engineering and its industrial applications is promoted through university courses and continuing education programmes, as well as through applied research and technology transfer projects with companies. DTI strategic scientific and technological focus is currently on additive manufacturing, advanced robotics and new production systems, power electronics design, automation and control systems, new materials and value-added products, information technologies and artificial intelligence.
