AFM Cluster for Advanced and Digital Manufacturing
AFM Cluster represents the interests of Advanced Manufacturing in Spain. It groups together almost 500 companies that employ more than 16,500 people and bill over 3.0 billion Euros. From its headquarters in San Sebastian, and its establishment in Tianjin (China), AFM CLUSTER provides services related to internationalisation encouragement, industrial development, strategic positioning and employee training to its associates across the following sectors:
• MACHINE TOOL AND ADVANCED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGIES – AFM-Advanced Manufacturing Technologies is the original association that the CLUSTER is named after. Founded more than 70 years ago, it has around 130 members
• ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING AND 3D PRINTING- ADDIMAT groups together more than 60 companies
• MANUAL TOOLS, HARDWARE AND INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY – ESKUIN represents around 25 companies
• MACHINING AND METAL-MECHANICAL TRANSFORMATION – AFMEC brings together more than 200 member companies
• TECHNOLOGY-BASED COMPANIES AND STARTUPS – UPTEK represents more than 100 technological companies and startups
• ADVANCED AND DIGITAL MANUFACTURING CAMPUS – IMH
AFM CLUSTER belongs to international associations such as CECIMO, ECTA or CEO, and it organises international fairs and events such as BIEMH, ADDIT3D, FERROFORMA, SUCONTRATACION, WORKINN or the CMH-Advanced Manufacturing and Machine Tool Congress.
