Young Manufacturing Leaders (YML)
This project continues the activities started in 2020 and aims to tackle the widespread skill mismatch affecting the manufacturing job market.
Partners seek to disseminate knowledge among young people (university students and workers) regarding the digitised manufacturing sector, related education trainings and job opportunities. Activities also will revolve around the perception of industrial employment, showing how it is moving rapidly toward social and environmental sustainability. Thanks to the preliminary work done in 2020, the project will be able to enlarge its reach. More regions will be involved, including areas that are part of RIS countries. Meanwhile, attention will increasingly be focused on inclusivity and gender balance, making sure that the ongoing technological development also will represent a step forward in terms of equality for all. This second phase provides a great opportunity to capitalise and consolidate the work done.
