Sustainable human-robot co-production for cargo bicycles – [ROBOFIETS]

This project wants to provide sustainable workplaces within the European bike industry by investigating the potential of assistive technologies and human-robot coproduction. By offering the new product of personalized cargo bike production, the onshoring of working places can be achieved. But at the same time, the requirements have changed in comparison to mass production.

The project wants to investigate how robots and assistive technology can be used in order to facilitate this process and to offer inclusive and sustainable workplaces for all workers, this means especially elderly workers and people with disabilities.
