Top MIT scientists gather in Vienna to discuss the future of manufacturing at the MIT Europe Conference

For the first time this year, EIT Manufacturing, supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union, is a proud co-organiser of the MIT Europe Conference 2025, the only Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) conference in Europe and the largest tech conference of a U.S. university on the continent. Taking place on 26-27 March 2025, at Wirtschaftskammer Österreich (WKÖ), Vienna, this landmark event will bring together MIT’s leading researchers, European industry leaders, policymakers and innovators to explore the future of manufacturing.

Under the theme “The Future of Manufacturing,” the conference will feature nine distinguished researchers from MIT, who will share their latest findings, technologies and solutions in the realm of manufacturing. From AI-driven automation to biotechnology’s role in manufacturing, attendees will gain exclusive insights into how cutting-edge advancements are transforming industries worldwide.
