With over EUR 15 million in funding allocated, Call for Proposals 2025 aimed to support collaborative projects in the areas of innovation, education, and the Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS). A total of 72 proposals were submitted, reflecting a strong interest in fostering resilient, sustainable, and innovative manufacturing solutions across Europe.
The evaluation of the proposals took place from July to October 2024, and applicants were informed of the outcome in October 2024. The successful proposals completed the conditions of the negotiation phase and began their activities with EIT Manufacturing in January 2025.
These projects address critical challenges in renewable energy, circular economy, and the transition to net-zero industry: key to the future of manufacturing.
The selected proposals also reflect the collective efforts of European companies, SMEs, startups, universities, and technology centres.
The activities of these projects will span one year, advancing EIT Manufacturing’s mission to improve people’s lives through sustainable manufacturing.
By driving innovation and fostering human-centred approaches, EIT Manufacturing continues to play a pivotal role in shaping a greener, more resilient manufacturing sector across Europe.
