IndustryUp showcases Slovak industrial innovation at the National Forum of Productivity

The first-ever IndustryUp pitching competition took place at the prestigious National Forum of Productivity on 3-4 October 2024, hosted at the Kia Slovakia Training Centre. This event highlighted the creativity and talent within Slovakia’s industrial tech startup ecosystem, featuring five exceptional finalists ready to revolutionise the sector.

The competing startups, DAITABLE, ECTIVE Automation, OWASmooth, SmartVision, and Unite, showcased their solutions to an enthusiastic jury. Their innovations reflect Slovakia’s growing prominence in industrial technology and manufacturing.

Following an intense competition and careful deliberation by industry experts, the jury—led by Radoslav Vašina of Investeers and Daniel Paunovic of EIT Manufacturing—announced the winners of the two-month tailored growth package designed to accelerate their ventures.

🏆 Winners of IndustryUp 2024:

• 2nd Place: DAITABLE
• 3rd Place: OWASmooth

Additionally, ECTIVE Automation and DAITABLE, as the numbers one and two, had the possibility to pitch their solution on the Digital Stage during the MSV Fair in Brno, Czechia.

This inaugural event not only celebrated the brilliance of Slovakia’s innovative startups but also underscored the potential for industrial tech innovation to drive productivity and economic growth.

IndustryUp was organised as part of the EIT Manufacturing – Slovakia X Fund, with support from the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development, and Informatization of the Slovak Republic.

IndustryUp prezentuje slovenské priemyselné inovácie na Národnom fóre produktivity

Prvý ročník súťaže IndustryUp sa konal na prestížnom Národnom fóre produktivity, ktoré sa konalo v Kia vzdelávacom centre pri Žiline. Toto podujatie vyzdvihlo kreativitu a talent slovenského ekosystému priemyselných technologických startupov a predstavil päť výnimočných finalistov pripravených revolucionalizovať tento sektor.

Súťažné startupy, DAITABLE, ECTIVE Automation, OWASmooth, SmartVision a Unite, prezentovali svoje riešenia odbornej porote. Ich inovačné riešenia odrážajú rastúcu významnosť Slovenska v oblasti priemyselnej technológie a výroby.

Po prezentácií a starostlivom posúdení odborníkmi z odvetvia, porota vedená Radoslavom Vašinom z Investeers a Danielom Paunovičom z EIT Manufacturing, oznámila víťazov dvojmesačného rastového balíka, s cieľom podporiť ich podnikanie a expanziu na zahraničné trhy.

Okrem toho dostali firmi ECTIVE Automation a DAITABLE možnosť prezentovať svoje riešenie v rámci Digital Stage počas Medzinárodného strojárenského veľtrhu v Brne.

Táto súťaž bola nielel oslavou inovatívnych startupov na Slovensku, ale tiež zdôraznila potenciál priemyselných technologických inovácií na zvyšovanie produktivity a ekonomického rastu.

Podujatie IndustryUp bolo organizované ako súčasť EIT Manufacturing – Slovakia X fondu, ktorý vznikol v spolupráci s Ministerstvom investícií, regionálneho rozvoja a informatizácie Slovenskej republiky.
