𝐄𝐈𝐓 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧

EIT Manufacturing South East welcomed Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) for a journey into Innovation and Entrepreneurship. 26 students attending MSc programme ‘Digital Transformation and Global Entrepreneurship’ from HNU embarked on a transformative journey to Athens as part of their ‘International StartUp Tour’, immersing themselves in the vibrant world of innovation and entrepreneurship.

2 days full of adventure and learning opportunities:

During day one, students visited Emphasis DigiWorld SA premises, a core member of EIT Manufacturing. This visit facilitated invaluable experience sharing and showcased the profound impact of digitization in the manufacturing industry. The next day, EIT Manufacturing South East welcomed the students for a deep dive into innovation ecosystem and organized a 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧, asking students to create solutions for two challenges:

• Print the Future: Transforming Athens with 3D Printing Solutions
• Nature Guard: Early Warning Systems for Environmental Protection

Students benefited also from inspiration sessions led by challenge experts from the Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems and Automation, and CASP S.A., enhancing their problem-solving skills and creativity while showcasing real-world applications.

Throughout this workshop, students engaged in courses in the EIT Manufacturing Digital Learning Platform, 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬.𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞, enriching their knowledge and skills, earning certifications validating their expertise.
