Competition of women innovators in Brussels
The final round of the LEADERS competition will take place in Brussels, 17 November 2022, and will have six highly innovative women professionals on stage.
They will pitch their achievements to the audience and will have three minutes pitch time as well as three minutes for questions and answers to convince the jury. The jury will then decide who will be awarded the first, second and third prize and announce their decision in the event itself.
Meet our innovators!
Paola Bonesu is co-founder and director at ELIF LAB, an Italian company specialised in designing algorithms and developing solutions leveraging the power of data science and artificial intelligence. She presents JinZone, a novel cognitive framework applied to robotics.
Valeria Chiono is currently Full Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Her research is aimed at the design of innovative bioengineering approaches to solve key problems in regenerative medicine and nanomedicine. She presents POLHYRNATECH nanocarriers for RNA therapies and an innovative method how to manufacture them.
Sofija Daceva is founder and CEO of WISE Group Ltd. The focus of her company is about transformation of the conventional supply chain of wineries into circular, through recycling of grape pomace leftovers and creation of new products in the food industry.
Soraya Gadit is the CEO & Founder of InoCrowd, a technological platform with artificial intelligence and machine learning that connects researchers from all around the world to organisations that need to innovate
Megi Mejdrechova is co-founder of a Czech start-up developing motion-imitating robotics. She stands behind the RoboTwin innovative robot teaching tool enabling automation and digitalisation of complex manufacturing jobs such as industrial spray-painting.
Denise Pezzuoli is co-founder & CTO of SanChip SRL, an innovative start-up based in Italy. The company works in predictive maintenance, developing IIoT devices for real-time and AI-powered monitoring and analysis of working fluids such as lubricating oils.
