From France to Europe – connecting ideas to industry

French startups join Access2Market programme to expand across Europe

EIT Manufacturing’s Access2Market programme welcomes four French companies to boost their growth through tailored support and access to European network.

Access2Market focuses on helping companies grow, scale their business and gain market visibility. “We connect them to our ecosystem and put them on the radar of our corporate challenges, where companies are looking for new solutions.” said Annabelle El Helou, Business Development and Innovation Manager at EIT Manufacturing West.

AI and 5G innovators take their solutions across Europe

Among the new joiners, Dessia, a company that uses AI to improve engineering and design processes. With an established presence in France, Dessia is now looking to expand its customer base across Europe. “EIT Manufacturing West gives us the opportunity to meet corporate clients.” says Guillaume Mesplont, Head of Sales at the Paris-based startup.

For Firecell, a provider of private 5G networks, joining the programme is also about building new partnerships. “The strong European network that EIT Manufacturing offers is key for us – more than 80% of our clients are outside France.” says Olivier Dhotel, Co-founder and CGO of Firecell.

Nature-inspired tech with concrete beginnings and metallic ambitions

But Access2Market isn’t just about getting introductions. It’s also about being present at the right events and connecting with other entrepreneurs. “In just one month, thanks to EIT Manufacturing, we’ve been to Gothenburg, Barcelona and Lyon,” says Ximena Walerstein, Co-founder and COO of Modulatio.

Her company has developed a unique casting method inspired by nature that reduces material use and is suitable for mass production. After early success with concrete in the construction industry, Modulatio is now exploring applications for metal parts in the automotive sector. “We’ve already had some promising conversations,” she adds.

Turning low heat into power – a push for industrial sustainability

For Entent, a startup from Aix-en-Provence, visibility and networking are crucial. “Talk about your project and meet people – that’s what helps us the most,” says founder Mathias Fonlupt. Entent helps industries reduce emissions by turning low-temperature heat into electricity. “EIT Manufacturing supports us with things like pitch sessions to showcase our work,” he says.

There’s still more to explore in the programme. From project proposal workshops for the EIT Manufacturing Innovation Call to the Sparks Club – a community for startup CEOs – these new members have a full year ahead of opportunities. Expectations are high, and with the right support, so is the chance for success.
