Congratulations!
At the EIT Manufacturing Summit 2023, the audience celebrated the inaugural cohort of Master and Doctoral students for the successful completion of their degrees. Congratulations on their achieving a significant milestone in their academic journey!
The hall was filled with ecstatic cheers as the very first EIT Manufacturing Master and Doctoral school graduates stood on the stage with EIT Label certificates in hand, celebrating an important milestone for the entire community. With this year’s event based on the European Commission’s Skills Agenda, this ceremony was one to demonstrate the importance of educating the workforce for future-proofing European manufacturing innovation.
Among the master graduates, three of the Best Innovative Master Thesis were selected based on the criteria “Best connection between research and application at company level” and Shunyang Ning, Chonlapat Srisuwan, and Tejesh Varma Rudraraju were awarded the first, second and third prizes respectively at the EIT Manufacturing Summit 2023.
Marketing and Sales Manager of the programme, Prajwal Chandra, hosted the ceremony, giving recognition to each individual from both programmes.
This milestone marks the beginning of a transformative journey for the graduates, positioning them as trailblazers in the dynamic landscape of European manufacturing. As we applaud their achievements, we look forward to witnessing the positive impact they will undoubtedly make in shaping the future of innovation and excellence in the manufacturing sector.
EIT Manufacturing CEO, Caroline Viarouge, made sure to acknowledge the efforts of the students: ”Your hard work and dedication really show. We congratulate you on your great achievement. So proud to have the young talent for the future of manufacturing. Futureproofing and transforming the world. We are welcoming you to the EIT Manufacturing community.”
Director of Education, Paola Fantini’s words were warm, expressing great pride in the completion of one stage. ”You are welcome to the alumni community”, she said and continued by emphasizing the wealth of this new esteemed status: ”Try to get the best of our community and the bigger community of EIT.”
Through her engaging narrative, Lucia Ramundo, Head of Master & Doctoral School, took both the students and the entire audience back to where it all began, during the COVID-19 pandemic when meeting in person was impossible. With this, she pointed out the obstacles that had been overcome to make the educational programme a reality. ”Not only have you graduated from your universities, but you are also now ambassadors of the EIT community and European values: integrity and equality,” she said in her concluding remarks.
