“Startups meet Industry” – an International PIER 4 and EIT Manufacturing Pitching!
“Startups meet Industry” is an exclusive event dedicated to supporting the transformation of Austrian manufacturing corporates and SMEs by connecting them with leading industry startups and scaleups from all over Europe. This event is part of the global Access2Tech Europe programme, organised by EIT Manufacturing in Austria, Spain, and Germany with the aim of connecting local industrial hubs with startups from the pan-European network of EIT Manufacturing. The main partners of “Startups meet Industry” are PIER 4 and tech2b.
On 3 October, Linz will become the center and hotspot for open innovation, where 14 European startups from various countries, such as Spain, Portugal, Iceland, Denmark, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovenia etc. will present their technologies to a wide audience of Austrian corporates and SMEs.
The goal of this year’s edition of the event is to provide selected Austrian corporates and SMEs with access to a diverse range of cutting-edge technologies that enhance operational efficiency, elevate product quality, and drive sustainability initiatives, and to ultimately initiate joint cooperations and projects between startups and corporates.
By engaging in this programme, corporates will not only benefit from valuable connections to European Industry 4.0 and 5.0 startups and scaleups, but also gain access to industrial innovations, forge new business partnerships, and tap into the pan-European open innovation ecosystem of EIT Manufacturing.
Within the event, EIT Manufacturing is bringing more than 20 leading Industry 4.0 and 5.0 startups and scaleups, out of which 14 will have the chance to pitch their technology to specially invited corporates from the network of PIER 4 and tech2b.
This event is a unique opportunity to showcase the region of Upper Austria as a leading industrial hub and to facilitate collaboration between corporates and startups.
Participants can schedule physical 1:1 meetings in our Matchmaking Area during the networking sessions of the event.
Participation at this event is free of charge and it is only open for corporates and startups.
