Transforming Industry 4.0: join EIT Manufacturing at MWC and 4YFN
Big, influential and unmissable – the Mobile World Congress (MWC) is back in Barcelona from 3 to 6 March, accompanied by its dynamic startup-focused partner event, 4YFN. Together, these events will bring global leaders in mobile, telecommunications and innovation under one roof to shape the future of connectivity.
Attendees can expect groundbreaking ideas, insights from industry giants and rising stars and opportunities to connect with investors and decision-makers, all while exploring emerging technologies and sustainable progress. At 4YFN, entrepreneurs will have a unique platform to showcase their innovations and make valuable connections in the connectivity ecosystem.

EIT Manufacturing topics taking center stage
Teresa Martínez, Women TechEU Lead at EIT Manufacturing West, will join the panel discussion “The Future of Women in Tech: What’s Next?”. On Tuesday, 4 March, at 3 pm, she will explore opportunities for a bright future for women driving deep tech innovation.
Blanca Chocarro, Senior Manager, Strategic Projects at EIT Manufacturing West, will take part in a pitch session on European projects. Her intervention is scheduled for Wednesday, 5 March, between 4.30 and 6 pm.
Pitching the future: startups redefine European industry
Under the title “Industry 4.0 Pioneers: European Startups Shaping the Future,” EIT Manufacturing, in partnership with Mobile World Capital Foundation, is hosting a pitch session to connect supported startups with industry leaders. This event aims to foster networking, provide a platform for showcasing innovations and accelerate a sustainable innovation for the European Industry.
Up to ten European startups from the EIT Manufacturing portfolio will present their groundbreaking ideas, covering topics such as advanced manufacturing, robotics, logistics, IoT, waste management, quality inspection, equipment reuse, energy efficiency and storage.

Bridging corporate needs with technology solutions
EIT Manufacturing is also actively supporting the MWC Open Innovation Challenge 2025, hosted by ACCIÓ, the Catalan Government’s agency for business competitiveness. This B2B international networking event, held in a hybrid format, has attracted over 40 leading corporations, including Renfe, Panasonics and Airbus seeking innovative solutions to their needs.
