Driving E-mobility and Clean Energy Conversion through Materials Design & Manufacturing

Strategic Research Innovation Partnership Factories of The Future (SRIP FoF) together with Jožef Stefan Institute and EIT Manufacturing kindly invite you to the Innovation Day Ljubljana on Wednesday, 06 December 2023 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The morning session is dedicated to the presentation of the results of the EIT Manufacturing innovation project aProMag, coordinated by Jožef Stefan Institute, which will be followed by a discussion of the business impact of the project. A round table with international speakers from corporates in the manufacturing sector will conclude this part of the agenda.

After a networking lunch, EIT Manufacturing – the largest innovation ecosystem for the manufacturing industry in Europe – will present its various opportunities for companies of all sizes, universities and research institutions and how organisations can benefit from this network.

Following a short coffee break, the event will focus on demonstrating the performance of the functional materials industry in Slovenia with various presentations by industry and government representatives.

After the presentations conclude, all event participants are welcome to join the networking dinner at Grand Hotel Union.

We hope to see you in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 06 December 2023 for the Innovation Day Ljubljana – Driving e-Mobility and Clean Energy Conversion through Materials Design & Manufacturing!

*Horizon Europe project INDUSAC

EIT Manufacturing is part of a European project called INDUSAC, led by Jozef Stefan Institute (JSI). The project aims to develop an advanced Industry-Academia Collaboration (IAC) mechanism for co-creation, with a focus on the needs of companies, students, and researchers in the EU, particularly those in widening and associated countries. The project also aims to create a dynamic community of industry-academia stakeholders, including at least 1,000 companies, 3,000 students, and 300 researchers by the end of the 3-year project.

Call for Companies

The goal of this call is to foster short-term research collaborations between academia (students and researchers) and industry (companies) to address real-world challenges faced by companies. The financial support, in the form of Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP), will be provided exclusively to student members of the co-creation teams.

Key Details of the Call:

  • Expected Outcome: 300 successful collaborations between industry and academia.
  • Call Management: INDUSAC under the Horizon Europe programme.
  • Deadline Model: Single-stage, three cut-off dates
  • Challenge Submission Deadlines: Companies can issue Challenges continuously up to the following cut-off dates:
    • 15.12.2023
    • 15.04.2024
    • 15.09.2024
