About us

EIT Manufacturing Region South East was legally established in Athens, Greece in April 2022 . It serves nine countries in South East Europe: Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, and Türkiye.

EIT Manufacturing Region South East’s mission is to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the regional manufacturing network by strengthening and creating cross-national synergies among the different manufacturing actors in South East Europe. The office’s vision is to make South East Europe a global hub for sustainable and innovative manufacturing.

EIT Manufacturing Region South East is already having a positive impact on the region’s manufacturing sector. During 2023, the hub helped to create new partnerships and collaborations with large manufacturing companies and startups and has supported the development of several innovative manufacturing solutions. The office is also working to promote the region’s manufacturing potential to a wider audience.
