Research Mobility Slovakia
EIT Manufacturing East GmbH launches the “Research Mobility” call, aimed at supporting master and doctoral students from Slovakia who wish to enhance their academic and professional skills through international research opportunities. This initiative seeks to foster collaboration and innovation by enabling Slovak students to undertake research mobilities at universities and research institutes across Europe.
Selected applicants will be given the opportunity to conduct research projects in their field of expertise at renowned institutions, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and gaining valuable experience in a global academic environment. Applicants will compete for funding that supports their travel, living costs, and research activities during the mobility period. They will receive grant to help them maximise the impact of their mobility, while also facilitating their integration into European research networks.
The Research Mobility Call is an activity financed through the EIT Manufacturing – Slovakia – X Fund, a joint intiative of EIT Manufacturing and the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development, and Informatization of the Slovak Republic.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The Research Mobility Call is open to master and doctoral students currently enrolled at a Slovak university who have arranged a research mobility in the duration between 2 and 4 months at a university located in the Horizon Europe Associated countries where they would like to conduct research in one of EIT Manufacturing flagship areas:
- Flexible Production Systems for Competitive Manufacturing
- Low Environmental Footprint Systems & Circular Economy for Green Manufacturing
- Digital & Collaborative Solutions for Innovative Manufacturing Ecosystems
- Human-Machine Co-Working for Socially Sustainable Manufacturing

HOW TO APPLY?
The following documentation must be submitted by the applicants through the submission platform no later than one of the cut-off dates, 23:59 CET:
- The Application Form, duly filled in
- The Receiving University Confirmation Letter duly filled in
NOTE: Only applications submitted through the online link (please see below) before the deadline will be accepted and considered. The organisers reserve the right to extend the submission deadline; any extension of the deadline will be communicated to the public on the competition website.
