EIT Manufacturing Pioneering Learning Journeys Call for Proposals
What are “Pioneering Learning Journeys”?
The Pioneering Learning Journeys programme employs innovative pedagogical learning approaches to support learners in developing competencies in: incorporating sustainability and ethical concerns in manufacturing plans and decisions; creativity; innovation and entrepreneurial skills; leadership competencies; intercultural skills; and/or digital skills.
The Pioneering Learning Journeys Call for Proposals is a call related to the activities of the Education pillar. It covers only the education segment 1.6 Pioneering Learning Journeys, related to Master and Doctoral School, and has the purpose of developing the following activities for students and professionals:
- Summer School 2024 for EIT Manufacturing Master School
- Doctoral I&E (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) programme 2024
Both activities focus on the educational aspects of Innovation and Entrepreneurship within the framework of the wider EIT Labelled Master and Doctoral School. They involve the knowledge triangle integration to bridge the gap between academia and industry and to foster the development of new products and services ideas for the manufacturing sector within a safe educational environment.

Who can Apply?
To be eligible for funding, applicants must be established in one of the following countries:
- the Member States of the European Union, including their outermost regions: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden;
- the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) linked to the Member States;
- the countries associated to Horizon Europe and the low- and middle-income countries.

- Call closing: 29 November 2023 23:59 CEST
- Eligibility and admissibility check: 30 November 2023
- Evaluation of proposals: 11 December 2023
- Communication of results: 15 December 2023
- Revisions of successful proposals: 20 December 2023
- Selected activity proposals starts: 1 January 2024
