EIT Manufacturing is looking for projects and organisations ready to transform the European manufacturing and meet the global demands of present and future generations by achieving:
Flexible Production Systems for Competitive Manufacturing. Emerging technologies enable almost limitless product design and production flexibility, allowing full customisation.
Low Environmental Footprint Systems & Circular Economy for Green Manufacturing. Using new technologies to minimise use of resources, energy, and material in production systems to enable new circular business models.
Digital & Collaborative Solutions for Innovative Manufacturing Ecosystems. Collaboration and business on digital platforms and value networks enable companies to create new and highly efficient value chains.
Human-machine co-working for socially sustainable manufacturing. Smart use of automation and robots enables great workplaces, flexible production, and sustainable human work.
In the context of this call – and selected activities will be part of the Business Plan 2023-2025 – we are looking for proposals for innovation activities on:
Topic 1: Optimising production processes and increasing resources efficiency through digital solutions
Topic 2: Socially sustainable and human-centric manufacturing
Topic 3: Environmentally sustainable manufacturing through circular business models and new technologies

To get familiar with the call-specific requirements on the preparation and submission of your proposal, you can watch the recordings of our online Info day that was held on Agora (our community online platform) on 18th April 2023 and the Q&A session on Financial Sustainability of 1st June 2023.
Any legal entity, regardless of its place of establishment, including legal entities from non-associated third countries or international organisations is eligible to participate (whether it is eligible for funding or not).
Please check carefully the specific admissibility and eligibility conditions in 5.1 and 5.2 of the call guidelines.
You do not have to be an existing partner of EIT Manufacturing to apply for funding. Entities of selected proposals will asked to be part of the EIT Manufacturing community and choose one of the available partnership models.
How to participate?
The call is now open! Proposals can be initiated, prepared and submitted through our online submission tool from the 18th April 2023, 10:00 CEST until the 19th June 2023, 17:00 CEST.

A total of 35 proposals were submitted in response to this Call for Innovation Proposals
The evaluation of the proposals took place from June to August 2023. Applicants were informed about the outcome of the evaluations in August 2023.
The successful proposals completed the conditions negotiation phase and started the activity with EIT Manufacturing in January 2024.

Predictive Q+ is an advanced software platform for streamlined production processes. Originating from the automotive and steel wire industries, it serves as a comprehensive process control station, monitoring, detecting, and predicting operational and quality issues. Developed in collaboration with industry partners and powered by AI, it offers tools for detailed analytics, disruption prediction, and optimization, enhancing quality and resource efficiency. Its versatile interface accommodates diverse data sources, catering to any manufacturing enterprise.
